The Raynor ArborShore Collection features the very best in wood garage door construction, utilizing vertical grain cut lumber, mature Alaskan Western Red Cedar, and uniform wood tone coloring throughout.
The door frames are constructed from Sitka Spruce lumber, which has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any wood.
Sitka Spruce lumber is finger-jointed and edge glued for strength and stability. Frame joints are constructed using mortise & tenon joints, and dowels for added strength.
Additionally, a #20 biscuit is used to joint frames.
